Failure of Maori tertiary course has flow-on effect

Maori student advocacy groups say Maori courses have come under fire following revelations by the Tertiary Education Commission about two failed Maori performing arts courses at the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki. The National Māori Tertiary Students Association and Tertiary Education Union say the four hundred students, who've had their qualification withdrawn - have wasted their time and money.
