Over two mysterious February nights 14 musicians recorded the first Spoilers of Utopia album. Using a classic selection of brass sounds band leader John Bell weaves Asiatic, Polynesian and American threads through a loom of collective improvisation to create a unique, jazz-heavy cloth. The late saxophonist Albert Ayler would surely approve.
