Former Midnight Youth lead-singer Jeremy Redmore released his debut solo album yesterday. The day before that he performed with a new line-up playing an unproven set-list that’ll have to survive without the chart-topping hits of his former band. Though it turns out those signature soaring rock choruses didn’t come naturally to this thoughtful singer-songwriter. Music Mix producer Nick Atkinson wanted to find out more about the old band’s split, before getting to grips with Redmore’s new direction.
A serious car accident took Auckland session drummer Jono Wilson out of action late last year. In response his friends and collaborators have pitched in songs to help fund his recovery.
