Topics - the hostage drama in Sydney ended with the tragic deaths of two hostages, as well as the gunman, and today in Sydney has been a day of mourning and flowers, the signing of condolence books at a makeshift shrine in Martin Place. Uber is a bit shamefaced today and offering free rides out of the CBD and refunds, because yesterday it used "surge pricing" during the hostage crisis. The National Business Review is highlighting a very expensive 4-day UN conference in Samoa, in September. It was bankrolled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and has cost New Zealand taxpayers more than $9 million.
