The Panel is joined by Professor Jennie Connor of the University of Otago about whether these sales restrictions will mean much to alcohol abuse. Commercial property owners can claim a tax deduction for a collapsed building yet they can't get a deduction to earthquake strengthen their building. Tax expert Mike Rudd joins the Panel to explain how this works.
