The National Rifle Association is hitting back at pressure for more gun controls in the United States.
But why do so many Americans equate the ability to buy a gun with freedom.
The Panel is joined by Dr Jules Older, who is a former University of Otago psychologist.
He now lives in San Francisco, but is currently on a visit to Auckland.
