Newspapers fight for life

Newspapers are hanging on by a thread these days, with local, community papers often the first to be cut. Fairfax has slashed it's rural titles as it tries to invigorate its online platform.

Some, however, continue to thrive. The Ashburton Guardian seems to be one of the only papers not losing readers.

We ask the Editor of the Ashburton Guardian, Matt Markham. what their secret is and what advice he has for other smaller publications.
