Swift action on gun law reforms

Jacinda Ardern did not hestitate to call for a reform of the country's gun laws, promising that the new laws will be in place by the 11th of April. How realistic is the time frame? Al Gillespie of Waikato University says the PM's decision to reclassify, and then ban, semi-automatics makes good sense. He says it's a brave step and will be good not only in making New Zealand a safer place,it will also play well to the international audience which is watching how we respond.
