Boss asks worker to pay for training

A woman who had been working for just over a month at an Auckland bar, was asked to pay $888 to cover the costs of on-the-job waitressing training when she resigned.

The business director of the establishment, Johnny Barr, believes it's legal and fair.

We ask Chloe King from Raise the Bar, an organisation that calls for better conditions for hospitality workers, if really is legal and we ask the panelists if they think it is fair.
