Essential oils have been banned from an Auckland primary school after a parent threatened legal action, pointing out that his child's asthma could be triggered by the oils. Author and food and nutrition writer Niki Bezzant explains this is just the latest in a series of mis-steps around what we can and should be doing with essential oils.
