Anonymous memories from Gallipoli: a nurse recalls a man brought to hospital after seeing his brother killed, and veterans describe the humour of Gallipoli. Cecil Malthus's diary mentions action in the trenches and from the Otago Daily Times the report of the wounding of rugby player Charles Pollock of Poverty Bay.
