Armed police called over dispute in Auckland CBD

Armed police have scaled down an operation in central Auckland.

They are investigating allegations two people had been assaulted by others who were reportedly armed, during a dispute over personal property.

The incident happened about 1pm at an apartment in Lorne Street.

The police said, while no shots were fired, two people suffered minor injuries.
