Six people, including three young children, are in hospital after a serious crash in South Auckland this morning.
Police say the accident happened on the corner of Avis Avenue and Allenby Road in Papatoetoe.
One of the children has a head injury and another is believed to have both legs broken.
The crash involved two vehicles, one with six people inside, and the other with a lone driver.
St John's Ambulance said three people were in Middlemore Hospital in a serious condition, and three in a moderate condition. The seventh person had minor injuries and was not taken to hospital.
