Wellington commuters taking the train this morning are facing delays, following a signal fault.
Tranz Metro said its services on the Hutt Valley, Melling, Wairarapa and Kapiti lines have been disrupted because of a fault between Wellington Station and Kaiwharawhara.
Services on the Johnsonville Line are unaffected.
Tranz Metro says the problem has been fixed, but passengers should expect delays.
