A Taiwanese tourist has been charged over a fatal crash in Westland earlier this week in which his passenger was killed.
31-year old Yi-Chieh Feng died following the crash on Monday.
Her family have now arrived in New Zealand.
The police said the driver, who is 31, has been charged with careless driving causing death and will appear in the Christchurch District Court on Wednesday.
