Police are investigating an attempted robbery in Wellington.
Just after 4am, police were told that two men had held up another person with a gun and demanded his wallet.
Armed police were deployed to the Te Aro Park area when three people were seen matching the descriptions given by the victim, but enquiries revealed they were not involved in the robbery.
