Wellington Water is investigating the cause of three simultaneous water main bursts which left hundreds of properties without water last night.
Homes and businesses in Miramar, Brooklyn and Mornington were without water for almost six hours until just after midnight.
A Wellington City Council spokesperson said businesses affected included Peter Jackson's Weta Workshop and Park Road Post Production.
