Police in Northland have released the name of a driver killed in a collision with a house-moving truck last week.
He was 52-year-old Nicholas Kingsford of Kerikeri.
Mr Kingsford was driving south about 2am last Friday when his car and the truck collided just north of Pakaraka. He died at the scene.
The crews of the transporter and its support vehicles were unhurt.
Police do not yet know what caused the fatal crash.
