Three people have been airlifted to hospital after a tree fell on a camper van they were travelling in near Arthur's Pass.
Emergency services were called at 3.30pm to Klondyke Corner.
Police said four of the six people in the camper van had moderate injuries.
St John said three were airlifted to Christchurch hospital and one was taken by ambulance.
