Emergency services are at the scene of a serious two-vehicle crash on the Te Anau/Milford Highway in Southland.
A police spokesperson said two adults and two children from one vehicle had been flown to Dunedin Hospital with moderate to major injuries, while a couple from the other vehicle had been flown to Invercargill Hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
The road is closed.
