Police in Rotorua have arrested seven more people on firearms offences, in relation to a shooting last Friday.
Four people were arrested at the time, after two people were injured during the incident in Western Heights.
The armed offenders squad was called in today to help raid properties in Western Heights and Mamaku.
Those arrested today, all men, between 19 and 59 years old, will appear in the Rotorua District Court tomorrow.
Police said officers investigating the shooting had found five firearms, other weapons, and cannabis.
