Whangarei Police are appealing to the public for information about an armed robbery of a scrap metal dealer in the city.
Police said two robbers entered the Metal Man yard on Rewa Rewa Road yesterday afternoon, threatened an employee with a gun and left with several thousand dollars.
Police were keen to hear about any sightings of a stolen grey Nissan Terrano used in the robbery and ditched in a nearby street.
