An Auckland taxi driver has been caught drink-driving with three passengers on board.
Police said he was stopped on Newton Rd, heading onto the motorway, last night.
His breath alcohol reading was just over the legal limit of 250 micrograms a litre - at 286, police said.
He'll be fined $200 and get 50 demerit points.
Police said the officers who stopped the taxi gave the passengers a lift home.
