Tighter water restrictions are still due to be imposed in the Tasman region on Monday, notwithstanding rain this weekend.
Some rain is falling today, and MetService is forecasting more.
Tasman District Council said it would check how much rain had fallen on Monday, and where, and decide whether to keep the restrictions.
