Eftpos restored after three-hour fault

Eftpos transactions on the Paymark network were affected by a three-hour fault last night.

From around 8pm people on social media began complaining their Eftpos transactions were not being processed.

Paymark, which provides Eftpos services to more than 100,000 machines throughout the country, says its network was experiencing connectivity issues.

Spokesperson Paul Brislen said as of 11pm all services had been restored.
