Dunedin Police are appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run involving a New Zealand Post motorbike in St Kilda.
The incident happened on the corner of Bay View Rd and King Edward St at 8.45am.
Police said a dark red Ford Falcon, driven by a female, reversed into the stationary motorbike, then drove off towards south Dunedin.
The rider suffered bruising.
Anybody who may have seen the crash, or the car's driver driver of the car is asked to contact police.
