FBI head visits NZ to discuss security issues

The head of the FBI has been in New Zealand this week to meet with two government Ministers and the Police Commissioner.

James Comey meet with Auditor-General Chris Finlayson, Police Minister Judith Collins and commissioner Mike Bush in Wellington to discuss safety and security issues.

That includeg organised crime, global threats, terrorism and cyber-crimes.

In a statement, Mr Comey said the United States-New Zealand law enforcement partnership remained steadfast, and they were sharing critical information to safeguard their citizens from global threats.
