A couple from Singapore have admitted to starving their Filipino maid - who weighed just 29 kilograms when she finally managed to escape.
A court heard how Thelma Gawidan was given just two small meals a day - and even had to ask permission for a glass of water.
She finally fled to a shelter for migrant workers and filed a complaint.
The pair are awaiting sentence.
