Heavy rain is causing flooding in parts of the Coromandel.
Police are warning motorists that flooding, slips and debris are blocking several roads in the area, including Port Charles, Thames Coast and Manaia Roads.
Metservice has issued a severe weather warning for the region and the western Bay of Plenty.
