A senior member of the Head Hunters gang has been arrested on drugs charges in Auckland.
Police said the 59-year old man has been charged with the possession of class-A drug methamphetamine, with the intent to supply it.
The arrest comes after a search warrant was carried out at the Head Hunters headquarters in Henderson yesterday morning.
The man was not at the property, but handed himself in to the police after the raid.
He will appear in court to face the charges tomorrow morning.
