A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after falling four metres down a drain in South Auckland.
The Fire Service said the woman fell down the drain at about 3am today behind the 1981 bar, on Great South Road in Manukau.
Ropes were used to rescue the woman, who is now in Middlemore Hospital in a serious condition.
