Police are investigating a fire in a car yard in central Auckland early this morning.
Emergency services were called to the yard on Mt Eden Road shortly after 2am.
Fire Service spokeswoman Megan Ruru said when crews arrived a tow truck and a van on its deck were both fully ablaze.
The fire also spread to a nearby building, but that was saved.
Ms Ruru said the fire is being treated as suspicious. A fire investigator and police are investigating.
