A Christchurch law firm partner has been selected to stand for Labour in the marginal Christchurch Central seat at next year's election.
Duncan Webb, who has represented many earthquake claimants, said he was excited by the prospect of winning the seat for Labour.
The seat is currently held by National's Nicky Wagner.
