Police have arrested two men after a firearm was allegedly discharged into the air and a utility vehicle used to ram a parked car in the Coromandel this afternoon.
A 27-year-old man has been charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm and will appear in the Hamilton District Court tomorrow.
A second, 29-year-old, man has been charged with wilful damage.
Police said they were not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
