Police have concerns for a 48-year-old man who left his house in Oamaru yesterday and has not been seen since.
Peter Hamilton was meant to be driving to Dunedin in his silver Honda Legend but never arrived.
Police say he has a health condition that requires medication, which he does not have with him.
He was last seen wearing a black sleeveless vest with a red hood with white writing on the front.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen Mr Hamilton or his car to call them.
