Belgian police have released without charge six people who were detained during a series of raids on Monday connected with a failed attack last year on a high-speed train.

Authorities said no weapons or explosives were found in the raids.

The Moroccan gunman who opened fire while the train, which was travelling from Amsterdam to Paris, was overpowered by a group of passengers.
