NZ market unchanged

The New Zealand stock market was unchanged on Friday, but the Australian market was up.

At 12:10pm, the NZX 50 was unchanged at 3487 on turnover of $51 million.

Across the Tasman, the Australian 200 index was up 45 points, or 1%, at up 25 points at 4271.

The New Zealand dollar was at 83.03 US cents, 79.45 Australian cents, 52.04 pence, 67.19 yen and 0.6298 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was at 73.82.

Fletcher Building was up 4 cents at $6.19, Telecom was down 4 cents at $2.47, Chorus unchanged at $3.44 and Contact Energy was unchanged at $4.83.

Freightway was unchanged at $3.95 and Mainfreight up 2 cent at $9.57.

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare was down 3 cents at $2.14 and Fisher & Paykel Appliances was unchanged at 50 cents.

SkyCity Entertainment was up 2 cents to $3.89 and Sky Television was up 1 cent $5.29.

TradeMe was up 2 cents to $3.45 after it struck a deal with Channel Advisor, an e-commerce software company, which will allow international retailers to sell their wares through the auction website.
