AMP's listed office space investor, ANZO, has agreed to buy Bowen Campus in central Wellington for $50.4 million.
The one-hectare site next to the Beehive includes Bowen State Building and the Charles Fergusson Tower.
The vendor is Capital Properties, a member of the AMP Capital Property Portfolio.
The site has 30,000 square metres of rental office space, plus resource consent for that to be increased to 60,000 square metres.
The sale is conditional on approval from the Overseas Investment Office, as ANZO is 28%-owned by overseas investors. It also has more than 7500 New Zealand shareholders.
