The number of new job advertisements slumped in March after a solid rise in February.
ANZ job advertisement data shows the number of ads fell a seasonally adjusted 1%, led by a 7.5% drop in newspaper ads.
ANZ says the data is consistent with a stable to slight rise in the unemployment rate over the next six months.
