Both the New Zealand and Australian markets closed lower on Monday.
The NZX 50 slipped 3 points to close at 3513 on turnover of $66 million.
The New Zealand dollar was at 81.61 US cents, 78.94 Australian cents, 50.64 pence, 66.4 yen, 0.6187 euro and the The Trade Weighted Index stood at 72.72.
Fletcher Building was up 3 cents to $6.17, Telecom was down 4.5 cents at $2.55, Chorus was up 4 cents to $3.41 and Contact Energy was down 11 cents at $4.78.
Infratil was up 2 cents at $1.91, NZ Refining down 6 cents at $2.74, SkyCity Entertainment was down 6 cents to $3.84 and Sky Television was down 1 cent to $5.39.
Mainfreight was up 5 cents to $9.80, Kathmandu up 1 cent to $1.70 and
Cavalier was down 12 cents to $1.77.
