The embattled Pyne Gould Corporation has appointed an Australian businessman to its board.
The company, which lost its auditor, KPMG on Wednesday and is under scrutiny by the Financial Markets Authority over related party transactions, says Gregory Bright will become an independent director.
Mr Bright's appointment meets stock exchange rules that companies must have two independent directors.
