The NZX50 index rose 7 points to close at 35 55 on turnover of $80 million dollars on Monday.
The New Zealand dollar was at 78.12 US cents, 77.95 Australian cents, 48.62 pence, 62.5 Yen, 0.6062 euro and the Trade Weighted Index was at 70.37
Fletcher Building was up 14 cents at $6.26, Telecom up 4 cents at $2.63, Chorus up 1 cent at $3.23 and Contact Energy was up 2 cents to $4.82.
Sky City was down 8 cents at $3.64, Sky Network TV down 7 cents at $5.48 and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare was up 1 cent to $2.33.
The Warehouse was up 3 cents to $2.70, NZX up 5 cents to $2.90 and Diligent Board Member Services up 8 cents to $3.43.
Xero was up 22 cents to $4.34, Nuplex down 3 cents to $2.52 and Hellaby Holdings was unchanged at $2.98.
