NZX down at close

At close on Monday the NZX 50 was down 24 points to 3477.

In currency markets the New Zealand dollar was trading at 76.17 US cents, 77.32 Australian cents, 48.55 pence, 60.51 yen, 0.6053 euro and The Trade Weighted Index stood at 69.32.

Fletcher Building was up 5 cents to $6.20, Telecom up 1 cent to $2.57, Chorus unchanged at $3.20 and Contact Energy down 6 cents to $4.79.

Sky City Entertainment was down 3 cents to $3.49 and Sky Television down 1 cent to $5.13.

Air New Zealand was down 1 cent to 90 cents, Auckland International Airport down 3 cents to $2.55 and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare down 9 cents to $2.20.

Trade Me was down 2 cents to $3.90, Xero up 3 cents to $4.03, Mainfreight up 5 cents to $9.49 and Nuplex down 6 cents at $2.29.

New Zealand Oil and Gas was unchanged at 76 cents. It has expanded its presence in Indonesia, winning a bid to explore a block in northern Sumatra.

Energy Mad was up 3 cents to 53 cents after posting a full year loss of $1.1 million. But it is sticking with its 2013 profit forecast.
