Vector disappointed at price setting decision

Gas and electricity lines company Vector says it's disappointed that the Court of Appeal has overturned a judicial review of the way the Commerce Commission regulates price setting for monopoly providers.

The company says investment decisions are hindered by rules setting the price through the regulator's input methodologies.

Vector chief executive Simon Mackenzie said the decision was disappointing from a good regulatory process perspective.
