New Zealand market up

The New Zealand market was up 18 points to close at 3519 on Monday.

When the markets closed the New Zealand dollar was buying 80.78 US cents, 77.22 Australian, 51.38 pence, 63.3 Japanese yen and 0.6573 euro.

The Trade Weighted Index was at 72.81.

Fletcher Building was up 6 cents to $6.02, Telecom was up 65 cents at $2.61 and Chorus was up 1 cent at $3.12.

The NZX was down down 14 cents at $1.18 after issuing a half year profit warning.

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare was down 2 cents at $1.93, Auckland Airport was up 1 cent at $2.495, Air New Zealand was down 1 cent at 89 cents and Contact was down 1 cent at $4.97.

PGG Wrightson was up 1 cent at 32 cents, Tower was unchanged at $1.68, Oceana Gold was up 9 cents at $2.67, Sky City Entertainment was up 1 cent at $3.56 and Sky TV was down 2 cents at $4.98.
