NZ Refining Ltd made $29 million in the two months to the end of June, after processing 6.6 million barrels of oil at Marsden Pt refinery.
The company says average gross refinery margin stood at $US4.92 per barrel with an average exchange rate of 78 US cents.
It says the margin and output were affected by a planned maintenance shutdown which finished in early May.
