Warehouse eyes other sales channels

The Warehouse says it is looking at different channels to sell products rather than its traditional shopfronts or online store.

The company says it is the first retailer to offer customers online daily deals, similar to other websites that offer consumers time-limited deals on different products.

Chief executive Mark Powell says the daily deal component of its website provides the company with another channel to offer consumers stock.

Mr Powell says the deals will largely be made up of things not stocked instore because they will be products the firm can only get limited quantities of, making them more suitable for online selling.
