The New Zealand Superannuation Fund reported a return of 1.5% in July, due to a moderate rally on global equity markets.
For the year so far, the Fund, which was set up to help fund future superannuation payments, says returns also stand at 1.5%.
Since its inception in September 2003, the Fund's return after fees, but before tax, is 7.6%.
The Fund totals $19.15 billion.
