Vector has added more customers, though the amount of electricity distributed through its lines fell.
The company said it had 537,268 electricity customers at the end of December, an increase of 0.6% with the same time a year earlier. Net new customers rose 20% to 2040 in the second half of last year.
But electricity volumes fell nearly 1% to 4,321 gigawatt hours.
Gas customers rose 1.5% to nearly 156,000, while volumes in its transmission business fell and its distribution arm remained flat.
