Budget airline Jetstar has appointed a New Zealander to head its operations in that country.
Air Nelson general manager Grant Kerr will take over the new Auckland-based position in the second half of this year.
Mr Kerr will oversee the carrier's more than 500 New Zealand team members and report to Jetstar chief executive David Hall.
Mr Hall says the appointment is part of the airline's focus on improving customers' experience - particularly the reliability of the service.
